Air handler cabinet re-lined with new insulation — West Palm Beach (Apr 2026)
The original fiberglass liner inside the air handler had broken down: wet, yellowed, and falling apart in the bottom of the cabinet around the wiring. We took the components out, stripped the old liner, and installed a new foil-faced insulated liner around the blower and cabinet walls, then put the system back together.
Liner problem caught on a tune-up, attic air handler re-insulated — West Palm Beach (Jul 2026)
During a routine tune-up we found the insulation inside an attic air handler cabinet was failing. Five days later we came back, removed the components, and installed a new insulated liner. The outdoor unit was checked with gauges as part of the visit.

What does re-insulating an air handler cabinet mean?
The inside of an air handler is lined with insulation. On older units that liner can get wet, sag, and fall apart. We remove the components, strip the old liner, install a new insulated liner, and put the system back together. It is often a way to keep a sound system running instead of replacing it.
My outdoor unit is humming but the fan is not spinning. What should I do?
Turn the system off at the thermostat and call. It is usually a failed condenser fan motor or capacitor, and running it that way can overheat the compressor. We replaced exactly this for a downtown West Palm Beach customer on the same visit.
Can you keep my older system running instead of replacing it?
Often, yes. When a repair makes sense, we do the repair. When the numbers favor replacement, we show you both options and leave the decision to you.
