Air handler stand rebuild — Millpond, Boca Raton (Sep 2025)
The plywood return box under a 10-year-old air handler had rotted. The better long-term answer was a new system and ductwork; the homeowner chose to keep the equipment for now, so we rebuilt and insulated a new return box stand, cleaned and sanitized the air handler and drain pan, reinstalled the unit, pressure-tested with nitrogen, installed a new filter drier, pulled a deep vacuum, topped off refrigerant, and mastic-sealed the connections. We also documented the 30-year-old ducts and the original under-slab drain line so the homeowner knows what to plan for next.
Outdoor fan motor and contactor — Boca Raton (Aug 2025)
The outdoor fan motor had failed and the contactor was too rusted to trust. Both were replaced in the same visit and the system was back on.

Can you keep an older system running instead of replacing it?
Often, yes, and we will tell you the truth about it. In Millpond we rebuilt the stand under a 10-year-old air handler rather than replacing the system, and wrote up what the homeowner should plan for next. When replacement really is the better answer, we show you the numbers both ways.
How fast can you get to Boca Raton?
