Condo AC replacement with an emergency City of Delray permit — Delray Beach (Jun 2025)
A 9-year-old self-contained condo unit that was not worth repairing: the coil and compressor were done and the parts were scarce. The owner presented two replacement options, the emergency permit and the COA paperwork were filed the same afternoon, and the new unit was installed the next day in a 5-by-7 closet next to a stacked laundry. A slight whistle at an upper door was fixed two days later on a return visit.
“A broken AC at the beginning of a SoFla summer is nearly as upsetting as a power outage! Ocean Air’s AI texting was so easy to use & allowed me send photos of the problem @ 6pm. Steve immediately phoned to ask a few ?s & check into scheduling. Robb was at my door the following lunchtime. He tried several ways to get my 9 yr old Hydrotech up & running to no avail.
